1. About these terms and us

These terms apply when a consumer buys goods, a digital gift card or a physical subscription box directly from printshop3d.co.uk. Please read them and our Privacy notice before ordering. They do not reduce your statutory rights.

The seller is Merr Digital LTD, operating as PrintShop3D, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17320278. Its registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.

You can contact us at:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Contact form: https://printshop3d.co.uk/contact
  • Post: 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom

Please include your order number where relevant. Do not send a return to the registered office unless we have confirmed that return address to you.

These terms cover direct website sales to consumers in the United Kingdom. An order placed on eBay or Etsy is also subject to the applicable marketplace terms and information in the listing. Contact us before ordering if you are buying wholly or mainly for business use, because separate terms may be needed.

2. Who may order

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. Products may be intended for a child, but an adult must order and supervise use where the product information requires it.

You are responsible for giving accurate contact, delivery and payment information and checking the order summary before payment.

3. Products and 3D-printing characteristics

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Screen settings and material batches can affect colour. 3D printing naturally produces fine layer lines, seams and small non-material variations in texture or finish. A disclosed characteristic is not by itself a fault, but goods must still match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for any purpose agreed with you.

Dimensions are approximate unless a guaranteed tolerance is stated. Product pages may include age, load, heat, food-contact, outdoor-use or other safety and care information. Follow that information and use products only for their intended purpose. Decorative or collectible products are not toys unless expressly described as toys.

Most printed products are prepared after an order is placed. Being made to order does not, by itself, remove your cancellation rights. The exception in section 10 applies only where goods are genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

4. Personalisation and customer-supplied material

Where a listing allows personalisation, check spelling, dimensions, colours and supplied material carefully. We may contact you if a request is unclear, unsafe, technically unsuitable or appears to infringe another person's rights.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use any text, image or design you supply and that producing the item will not be unlawful or infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy or other rights. You keep ownership and give us a limited permission to use the material only to quote, manufacture, quality-check, deliver and support the order.

We may refuse an unlawful, abusive, unsafe or technically unworkable request and will refund any amount paid for work we do not supply.

5. Prices, delivery charges and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT or other sales tax where we are required to charge it. The basket and order summary display product prices, discounts, delivery charges and the total before you commit to payment. Current delivery charges and any free-delivery threshold are shown in the basket and checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Discount codes, gift cards, loyalty points and promotions are subject to the conditions shown with them and cannot normally be exchanged for cash.

If an obvious pricing or description error could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may reject the affected order before acceptance and refund any payment. We will not replace the displayed price with a higher one without asking you to make a new choice.

6. Placing an order and contract formation

The checkout lets you review and correct information before payment. Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated payment or receipt message confirms that we received the request; it does not necessarily mean we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we send confirmation that we have accepted the order. We may decline an order before acceptance for a genuine reason, including unavailable material, an undeliverable address, failed payment or fraud checks, a safety concern, an obvious error, or an unlawful or unsuitable personalisation request. If we decline after taking payment, we will refund it.

Keep the confirmation and order number. The terms in force when the contract is formed apply to that order.

7. Production and delivery

We currently deliver direct website orders to addresses in the United Kingdom accepted by checkout. Any processing or delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree a fixed date. Made-to-order products require printing, finishing and quality-check time before dispatch.

We will deliver without undue delay and, unless another time is agreed, no later than 30 days after the contract is formed. If a delay gives you a legal right to end the contract, we will honour it.

We are responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or a person you identify to receive them. Ownership passes when we have received full payment.

Check the delivery address. If an incorrect address supplied by you causes a parcel to be returned or redelivered, we may charge the reasonable additional cost. We will not charge costs caused by us.

8. Delivery problems

If a tracked parcel is delayed, shown as delivered but missing, visibly damaged or returned to sender, contact us promptly with the order number. We may ask you to check a safe place, neighbour or carrier evidence and may open a carrier investigation.

Your contract is with us. A carrier investigation does not remove a remedy due under consumer law.

9. Your right to cancel a distance order

For most goods bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason from the date the contract is formed until 14 days after the day you, or a person you nominate, receives the goods. If one order is delivered in separate parts, the period normally runs from receipt of the last part.

Tell us clearly that you want to cancel by email, through the contact form or with the model form at the end of these terms. It is enough to send the notice before the cancellation period ends.

After cancelling, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us. Contact us first so we can provide the operational return address and identify the parcel. Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect, damaged on delivery or we offered free returns, you are responsible for the direct return cost. Use suitable packaging and obtain proof of posting.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We will refund the price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not have to refund the extra cost of a premium delivery choice. We will refund without undue delay and normally within 14 days after we receive the goods or you provide evidence of return, whichever is earlier. We may withhold the goods refund until then. Refunds use the original payment method unless the law allows or you agree otherwise.

10. Exceptions to change-of-mind cancellation

The statutory change-of-mind right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This may include a product manufactured with customer-supplied wording, imagery, dimensions or a unique design. It does not include an ordinary made-to-order item or a standard catalogue choice such as a listed colour or size.

These exceptions never remove rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

11. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods

You have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods do not conform, you may have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days and, depending on the circumstances and timing, rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a final refund.

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible with the order number and a description of the problem. We may ask for photographs or other proportionate information, but this does not replace your legal rights. We will cover reasonable return costs for goods accepted as faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

Do not dispose of an item before we have had a reasonable opportunity to assess it unless keeping it would be unsafe. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or failure to follow clear care and safety instructions is not a product fault, although we will assess the circumstances fairly.

12. Refunds

Where a refund is due, we use the original payment method unless the law requires or you expressly agree another method. If an order used a PrintShop3D gift card, the gift-card-funded amount is normally restored to that card before any Stripe-funded remainder is returned through Stripe.

Bank and payment-provider processing times are outside our direct control after we submit a refund, but we remain responsible for submitting it within the legal deadline.

A return request, approval or physical receipt does not itself mean a refund has completed. We record the refund separately and notify you when it has been submitted or completed.

13. Digital gift cards

A paid digital gift card is issued only after Stripe confirms payment. It may be used for eligible direct website purchases until its balance reaches zero. It cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires, pays no interest and cannot be used to buy another gift card where checkout prevents that.

Paid public gift cards are currently issued without an expiry date unless a different date is clearly stated before purchase. A promotional or goodwill card may have a disclosed expiry date.

Protect the complete code like cash and contact us promptly if it is lost, sent to the wrong address or disclosed. We will take reasonable steps to protect any unused balance after appropriate verification.

You may cancel an unused gift-card purchase during any applicable 14-day cancellation period by contacting us. If a balance has been used, we will apply the refund or deduction required by law. A refund for goods paid for with a gift card is normally returned to that card.

14. Subscription boxes

This section applies only while subscription signup is offered. The plan and checkout show the contents, recurring price and billing interval before you subscribe. Stripe manages the recurring payment method. Each successful renewal pays for a new physical supply.

You may stop future renewals through My subscriptions, Stripe's billing portal where offered, or by contacting us. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and does not by itself reverse a renewal already properly taken for a box being fulfilled. Your separate cancellation and faulty-goods rights apply to each supply.

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe or we may retry it, ask you to update the payment method, pause fulfilment or end the subscription.

We may end a subscription for a genuine reason such as withdrawal of the plan, repeated payment failure, misuse or inability to continue safe supply. We will give reasonable notice unless immediate action is necessary and will not charge for a box we do not supply.

15. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password, passkeys, two-factor recovery details and gift-card codes secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect a customer, staff, the service or the law. Suspension does not remove an accepted order, refund, cancellation or data-protection right.

16. Reviews, questions and comments

Public content must be honest, relevant, lawful and respectful. Do not include personal information you do not want published, confidential information, advertising, malicious code or material that infringes another person's rights.

You keep ownership of your content and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, moderate, reproduce and display it on the PrintShop3D website and in direct promotion of the relevant product or article. This lasts while the content remains published and for reasonable backup or legal periods.

We may reject or remove content for a genuine legal, safety, privacy, relevance or abuse-prevention reason. We do not promise to publish every submission.

17. Loyalty, referrals and promotions

These features apply only while shown as active. The relevant page or offer displays the earning rate, redemption value, minimum redemption, expiry and other material conditions.

Points and referral rewards are promotional, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. Points earned from an order may be reversed if the order is cancelled, refunded or fraudulent; redeemed points are restored where the corresponding payment is fully reversed under the programme rules.

We may change or end a programme for future activity on reasonable notice. We will deal fairly with an existing earned balance and will not remove it retrospectively without a valid reason such as refund, error, abuse or account closure.

18. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape the service in a harmful way, or use it for fraud or unlawful activity.

The website software, layout, branding, product photographs, descriptions and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may make ordinary personal-use copies needed to shop with us, but may not commercially reproduce or exploit the content without permission.

Some products are made under a third-party designer's licence. Buying a physical product does not transfer the design file, copyright, trade mark or a right to manufacture copies.

19. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights concerning goods.

These consumer terms cover personal use. We are not responsible under them for business losses such as lost profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption where a product is used wholly or mainly for business purposes without agreed business terms.

If an event genuinely outside our reasonable control delays us, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed. Any legal right to cancel or obtain a refund remains unaffected.

20. Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains how Merr Digital LTD handles personal information. Stripe, eBay, Etsy and other independent services also provide their own privacy information for processing they control.

21. Complaints

Email [email protected], use the contact form or write to our registered office. Include the order number, what went wrong and the outcome you are seeking.

If we cannot resolve a consumer-contract complaint internally, we will provide details of an approved alternative dispute-resolution body competent to handle it and tell you whether we are willing or required to use that process. You can also obtain independent advice from Citizens Advice or Consumerline in Northern Ireland and retain the right to use the courts.

22. Changes and other legal terms

We may change these terms for future orders. A later version does not retrospectively change an existing order. For an active subscription, we will provide any notice and cancellation right required for a material change.

If one part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No other person has a right to enforce the contract except where the law provides otherwise.

These terms and contracts made under them are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep any mandatory protections that apply where you live. You may bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
